Just bought a new house with dark kitchen and honey oak cabinets. We don't have the budget to paint or stain so we need to work with the existing cabinets, granite and flooring. Since the tile floor and granite have grey tones I was hoping to modernize it Anyhow, we plan to tear up the Saltillo tile currently in the kitchen/dining area and have hardwood put in and stain the existing oak hardwood in the preference would be for white trim.
